Privacy and website data

This notice describes the LEX Academy website’s current forms and measurement features. Updated October 16, 2026.

Inquiries and testimonials

LEX Academy, by Lykeion of Excellence, uses the details you submit to respond to inquiries, consider appropriate educational support, and follow up about requested resources. Forms are intended for adults. Please do not enter a child’s full name, school name, medical records, psychological evaluations, or other sensitive documents. Broad learner information is optional where marked; diagnoses are not required.

Form submissions are stored in a private database through the site’s hosting services. They are not published on the website. LEX’s authorized site administrators can access them for follow-up. Saved inquiries are retained even if an email notification cannot be delivered. Resend processes submitted contact details and messages to notify LEX at ms.v@lexbylyceum.org and send an acknowledgment to the email address you provide. The acknowledgment does not repeat your form answers or learner details. Email attempts and provider acceptance are recorded separately from the saved inquiry. These transactional messages do not subscribe you to marketing. Resource-delivery emails are not currently available.

Email choices

Educational-news and marketing consent is a separate, optional choice. You may withdraw it by contacting ms.v@lexbylyceum.org. No newsletter mailing system is currently connected to these forms.

Sources and optional measurement

When you submit a form, available source information is saved with your inquiry. This can include campaign codes, the referring website’s origin, and the landing-page path. We omit the rest of referring URLs and unrelated query parameters. Your self-reported source is optional.

Optional measurement is off until you choose “Allow measurement.” When enabled, the site records selected page views and button clicks with a random session identifier. First and latest source information is kept in session storage, which is limited to the current browser tab and expires after inactivity. Your choice is saved in local browser storage and can be changed using Privacy preferences. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep optional measurement off. Measured visits are browser-tab sessions with a 30-minute inactivity limit; one first observed landing path is counted for each session.

Measurement events do not contain names, email addresses, diagnoses, form answers, or uploaded records. Successful form saves are recorded as operational submission events even when optional measurement is declined. Lead records and operational events may be linked using an internal record identifier. No advertising pixels are installed, and health or learning-difference information is not used for advertising targeting.

Website measurement events and anonymous session records are removed after 90 days during routine processing. Daily aggregate reports, containing counts and page paths rather than contact details, are available only in the owner’s private dashboard and may be retained longer. Security protection temporarily uses a salted identifier derived from the connecting address; raw IP addresses are not stored in the lead or event tables. Hosting providers may maintain their own operational logs.

Scheduling, shopping and external links

Calendly handles appointments when you load the calendar or follow its link. The LEX Learning Shop will use a payment provider for checkout and private file delivery when purchasing opens. That provider has its own data practices. LEX does not collect or store credit-card or bank details through these website forms. Campaign codes may accompany a store or scheduling link, but form answers are never added to those URLs.

International visitors

LEX Academy is based in Houston, Texas. Inquiries are welcome from other countries, and hosting and service providers may process information outside your country. Educational terminology and legal requirements vary by location. This notice does not claim compliance with every jurisdiction’s requirements.

Please avoid sending sensitive records in ordinary email. Inquiry retention and any additional secure record-transfer arrangements can be discussed with LEX directly.
